A Texas native artist-maker studying at NCAD in Dublin, Ireland with a concentration in textiles. My work is often about the study of the human experience and mental health. I am still defining what exactly my studio practice looks like as far as materials, as I have worked with paint, fiber, clay and many other medium with my recent projects, my goals in creating remain steady. I work to create beauty around me and with an intention to make others feel seen and heard. I want my work to feel like a hug. Through textiles, apparel construction and experimenting with grand scale installations my goal is to open up a door from our earthly experience to the Holy and ‘other’. Creating, mark-making and enjoying the messy process of making has always given me peace and I only hope to continue spread and share a portrait of this beautiful and wonderful and mysterious life.
